Questions We Get a Lot
A pergola typically features an open or retractable canopy roof and is designed to define a space while providing partial shade — ideal for patios and garden walkways. A gazebo offers a fully enclosed hardtop roof structure, giving you more complete weather protection and a more defined outdoor room. Both are great options depending on how much coverage and enclosure you want for your backyard.
Many of our pergolas and gazebos are built with weather-resistant materials like aluminum frames, galvanized steel double roofs, and polycarbonate panels designed to hold up through seasonal conditions. We recommend reviewing the product details for each structure to understand the specific weather ratings and material specs. When in doubt, our team is happy to help you match the right structure to your climate.
Most of our pergolas and gazebos are designed for homeowner assembly with included hardware and instructions, though some larger structures may benefit from a second set of hands or professional help. We recommend reviewing the assembly details on each product page before ordering. If you have specific questions about a build, reach out and we can point you in the right direction.
We offer Free Shipping on Most Orders Within the Continental U.S. (Excludes AK/HI), which applies to most pergolas, gazebos, and outdoor structures in our collection. About Our Pergolas Collection
The Dream Star Ventures pergolas collection brings together a thoughtfully selected range of outdoor shade structures built for real backyard living. Our wood gazebos with galvanized steel double roofs bring warmth and character to any deck or backyard, while netting and curtain options add privacy and comfort.
